Koch 3 brothers. Combined net worth: $54 billion.  Brothers David and Charles own large stakes in $100 billion (revenues) Koch Industries, which operates pipelines, produces fertilizer, chemicals, polymers and owns forestry company Georgia Pacific.

Mars 3 siblings. Combined net worth: $41.4 billion. Siblings share ownership of Mars, the world’s largest confectioner, maker of M&Ms, Milky Way and 3 Musketeers and a long list of others. Revenue: nearly $32 billion.

Cox 3 relatives Combined net worth: $24 billion. Family members share ownership of Cox Enterprises, whose assets include cable company Cox Communications and newspaper, TV and radio group Cox Media. Jim Kennedy, grandson of the founder, is the chairman of Cox Enterprises.

Pritzker 11 relatives.  Combined net worth: $19.6 billion. The family inherited pieces of a diversified fortune that includes Hyatt Hotels and host of industrial assets that were built up A.N. Pritzker and his sons Jay (d. 1999) and Robert.

Cargill 7 relatives. Combined net worth: $14.3 billion. Seven members of the Cargill and MacMillan families inherited stakes agribusiness giant Cargill Inc., which had revenues of $119.5 billion in the fiscal year through May 2011.

Duncan 4 siblings. Combined net worth: $13.6 billion. Siblings inherited their wealth from their father Dan Duncan, who built Enterprise Products into an energy company that owns 49,000 miles of pipelines.

Ziff 3 brothers. Combined net worth: $12.6 billion. Brothers share ownership of Ziff Brothers Investments, a diversified portfolio of hedge funds, real estate, equities and commodities. Their father built the Ziff-Davis publishing  empire.

Newhouse 2 brothers. Combined net worth: $12.5 billion. Brothers S.I. and Donald run newspaper and media company Advance Publications (owner of magazine publisher Conde Nast) and own stock in Discovery Communications.

S. C. Johnson 5 relatives. Combined net worth: $11.5 billion.  H. Fisk Johnson is CEO of household products company S.C. Johnson, with $9 billion in revenues.

Hearst 5 relatives. Combined net worth: $9.8 billion. Five grandchildren of the late media baron William Randolph Hearst own stakes in Hearst Corp., which has newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations, and stakes in cable networks ESPN, Lifetime, and A&E. The family’s stake in ESPN is worth more than $6 billion.

Lauder 2 brothers. Combined net worth: $9.6 billion. Brothers Leonard and Ronald inherited stakes in cosmetics empire Estee Lauder from their mother, who died in 2004. They each own vast art collections.
