Real Politik in Libya September 2011 & How much money do Oil Companies make from invasion contracts?

What would motivate Western countries to use a peacekeeping resolution designed for civilian protection - into an all out push to topple a Government and disrupt every aspect of daily lives for an entire country?

My purpose is not to shrilly holler about this but to actually find out what is the thinking here.

Claims and behaviors made about the NATO invasion of Libya. (May I call it that ?)

UN 1973 abuse or at the least "maximal use". Inflicting billions in damage to infrastructure and killing all of the civilians family members serving in the armed forces.

Can reporters ask NATO about the disproportional of killing all the civilians family members in the armed forces. A fact. In order to insure they do not "harm civilians" - a possibility. In other words I kill your brother now - to make sure he wont kill another brother later.

1. Western Powers stating that they will use maximum pressure to continue until no civilian in Libya can be harmed. Apparently the complete and total eradication of the Libyan Armed Forces has priority. Now this would likely mean killing thousands of brothers of civilians to ensure that none of these civilians could be harmed.

What is the real motivation ? Why follow this policy. Let us assume that Hillary Clinton may be a good person - Why would she agree to this vs power sharing or talks or medium vs maximal pressure.

Oil companies take 10% of the profits or more. Libya has 44 billion barrels of oil plus natural gas, probably 10 Trillion US - which means if Iraq could be duplicated they might get as much as 3 Trillion Dollars.

IS Washington allied with Al Qaeda in Libya?
